Ágústa Eva Erlendsdóttir
was born and raised in a small town in southern Iceland.
She entered the limelight in 2005 with her fictional hit character Silvia Night and became a national sensation. Since then she has been unstoppable, fronting 6 TV series, starring in 7 feature films and several shorts, she published a book, released music and has been involved in numerous national theatre productions.
She's the Icelandic voice of DISNEY´S ELSA from FROZEN and RAPUNZEL from TANGLED among several other voiceover roles. Her most recent theatre role is on the main stage of Reykjavik City Theatre starring as Pippi Longstocking, from the beloved children's books by Astrid Lindgren. The show has played for a full house since September 2014.
She fights, does her own stunts and trains MMA. She is also a professional singer, performing regularly at Iceland's most prominent music venues. Her work spans from heavy dramatic performances to wild creative comedy. She lived in Norway and the UK for a while and speaks faultlessly in both UK and US accents. Agusta speaks the nordic languages as well; danish, norwegian and swedish.
